Alba Energy has implemented a unique HVDC project in Odesa

Alba Energy LLC has successfully completed an innovative project – laying a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) line of almost a kilometer in length, which connected generation facilities (rooftop solar power plants on residential high-rise buildings) with a power consumer facility – a supermarket chain.

This technology provides:

  • direct transportation of “green” electricity from the generation facility to the consumer over long distances;
  • Increasing the stability and reliability of the energy infrastructure by reducing the load on city networks;
  • efficient and cost-effective integration of alternative energy sources into the consumer’s power system.

This project is an important step in the development of Odesa’s energy-efficient infrastructure and in the city’s sustainable development.

It made it possible to connect scattered rooftop solar power plants located at a remote distance with the end customer, who has the converting equipment installed on his side.

“Alba Energy continues to be a leader in innovative energy solutions, helping companies reduce energy costs, implement green technologies and use energy resources efficiently.
